SOAR Leaders are a group of students who work together to welcome new students to 91涩漫. They assist in the development, planning, and implementation of the orientation and transition programs for more than 6000 students across all our campuses!

How to 91涩漫

1. Go to the Student Employment Center鈥檚 and sign in or create an account.
2. Click 鈥淰iew All Jobs.鈥�
3. Type the Job ID (located below) into the search bar.
   • Statesboro Job Code: 303286
   • Armstrong/East Georgia Job Code: 303274
4. Click on the job and review all information.
5. Click 鈥�91涩漫 for Job鈥� and start your application.
   1. Additional Document Needed: Complete the supplemental application questionnaire.

In order to be considered for an interview, you must:

1. Have completed or are in progress towards completion of at least one semester at 91涩漫 prior to January 2027.
2. Maintain a minimum 2.5 institutional GPA.

Mandatory Events

• SOAR Kick-Off: January 2027
• SOAR Training/Team Meetings: Weekly Spring 2027
• Camp SOAR: April 10, 2027
• SOAR Intensive Training: May 5-19, 2027
• SOAR Sessions: SOAR Leaders are required to be present at all campus-specific in-person and virtual orientation sessions. Sessions run from late May to early August. Dates will be posted once available.
• Eagle Experience Events: SOAR Leaders are required to assist with Eagle Experience events, such as Convocation, Welcome to the Nest, Class Schedule Tours, etc., during the first week of Fall classes.
